Coco Villa is at 5 minutes from the center of Mahebourg which is found in the South-South-East of Mauritius. Mahebourg, named after the governor Mahe de Labourdonnais and known for its commercial activities and urban ambiance, gives the opportunity to the tourists to discover a town with a historical background. During the 19th century it was the first town of the island but for some administrative reasons it is considered only as a village. It is aboveall very lively, animated and mild village. You can find some bazaars, mobile restaurants and a market of vegetables and clothes. Arriving from the airport, 10 minutes to Coco Villa, you can visit the naval museum which evoke the French colonial period. Blue Bay, one of the most beautiful beach of the island, is found at 5 mins walk from the villa. |
